Do your own walk
If your local hospital charity is not organising their own walk, or you can’t make the date of their event, why not do your own sponsored walk with your friends and family to raise money for your local NHS charity?
Where you walk, how far you walk and when you do it is totally up to you. You might want to get group of friends together and walk 5 km to a great country pub and then back home for tea.
Or maybe pack some sandwiches and tackle that epic 15 mile loop you’ve been meaning to do since you moved to the area.
You could even simply do a few laps of the local park with your family. It’s all about the taking part and hopefully raising a few pounds for your local NHS charity.
