Countess of Chester Hospital - 'Walk for Wards'
October 8th 2017, 10:00 at Countess Country Park
Come and join us for an invigorating sponsored 2KM or 6KM walk on the Countess of Chester Country Park at the rear of the hospital. Pushchairs, wheelchairs, and dogs on leads welcome (2KM route recommended for children and those with walking difficulties).
This walk is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Countess of Chester Country Park, which displays breathtaking views of green fields as far as the eye can see. Saunter along the canal pathway and see the mallards in their true environment or try spot the hovering Kestrels that return to the area in October to feed.
Bring your friends, family, work colleagues, children and dogs to help raise funds that will make a difference to your chosen ward or department here at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
It's FREE registration! You get bacon batch & hot beverage at the finish!
Registration opens at 9am. The walk begins at 10am from Education Building at COCH. The longest walk should take 1.5 hours.
We just ask that you raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 per person, or £50 per family (2 adults and 2 children), and choose a ward or department that you would like your sponsorship to go to.
